Goodness Magazine
Download PDF article
Back in June 2009 Rovinghorse Henna was honored to provide henna for the cover of Goodness
Magazine. The story that goes with the photograph on the cover is about one woman’s story of
recovering from breast cancer, and how henna was a big part of her healing process. Our story is on
page 14 of the online version of the magazine.
We are continuing on the journey of Linda Oleson, the woman in the article, and have hennaed her in
observance of the beginning of her course of chemo, and also in observance of its ending. We hennaed
for Goodness Magazine and we hennaed to prepare for reconstructive surgery. We will henna with
Linda one final time in celebration of her whole journey with cancer when she has fully recovered from
her reconstructive surgery.
Rovinghorse Henna is dedicated to helping cancer patients through their process by providing henna
services at reduced rates. We also are working to promote a wider understanding of henna in the cancer
treatment community and facilitating its use in individuals’ paths to healing.
We will post a final set of pictures of Linda soon, so check back!
