Rovinghorse Henna offers a wide range of curriculum based workshops, special programs and Bollywood themed music/film/dance parties for schools, libraries, community centers and youth organizations.

We are dedicated to providing high quality education programs for schools and organizations and to making these programs affordable. • "Hands On Henna"
  2 hour workshop featuring a slide show, hands on mixing demo, books and artifacts and hennaed objects to explore, style demonstration, group discussion about the history, cultures traditions, geography, biology, chemistry of henna and the migration of henna designs and traditions in a global economy . Henna application for all participants.


• "The Art of Henna"
  A minimum 2 hour workshop with slide show, mixing and style demonstrations, objects, artifact and books to explore AND Instruction in henna technique with the opportunity to work with henna on fabric, paper or skin. Henna application for all participants.


• "Bollywood Gala"
  A minimum 2 hour event featuring, introductory discussion, film, music and dance, costumes , decorations and henna application for all participants.


• "The Mehendi Road"
  A three to five day artist in residence program or several week session provides an in depth look into the cultural, scientific, historical, and artistic exploration of henna and its signifigance in the ancient and modern world. This program can be tailored to fit curriculum. An interdisciplinary approach to henna cultures through film, music, literature, dance and theater.
