Where to Stay

If you are coming to the Pacific Northwest Henna Adventure from out of town and are wondering where to stay, here is a list of nearby hotels that would be a good bet. Lodging for the Henna Adventure is not included in the event, but there are lots of good options nearby for every budget.

 
 

Embassy Suites Washington Square

This hotel comes highly recommended by friends who frequently travel to the Portland area and has the best amenities for the money. Free (really good) breakfast, evening reception in the atrium with complimentary food and beverages, indoor pool and hot tub, rooms with mini fridge and microwave, located less than 5 miles from the venue. No shuttle service to the venue.

Costs: Single King suite: $149/night 2 Double beds suite: $159/night (plus tax)

Doubletree Inn, Tigard

Another really good hotel with great value for the money. Onsite bistro and bar and 24 hour pantry market, rooms with mini fridge and microwave, indoor pool, free shuttle service to the event venue between 8am-5pm. Breakfast is not included.

Costs: Single King room: $139.00 2 Double beds room: $129.00 (plus tax)

Aladdin Inn

A good choice if you are on a tighter budget. This is an average run of the mill motel with no frills. Free simple breakfast, free wifi, steps away from a convenience store, very close to the venue. Older building motel, some rooms with older furnishings, no shuttle service to the venue.

Costs: Single Queen room: $99.00 2 Double beds: $115.00

Cost of an Uber or Lyft to the Venue: $10-$12


 

Kimpton Hotel Monaco

Super fun and quirky boutique hotel in Downtown that is one of the favorite hotels in Portland. Hosted social hour every evening in the Living Room, morning cofee and tea service, adjacent Red Star Tavern, yoga mat in every room, public bicycles available. No free breakfast, but meals available at Red Star Tavern. No shuttle service to venue.

Costs: King Deluxe room: $191.00 Queen Deluxe: $184.00

Mc Menamins Crystal Hotel

Located in an historic building in downtown Portland’s Pearl District, The Crystal Hotel is a fun and funky hotel and part of the Mc Menamins chain of hotels. Rooms feature delightful artwork and themes. Most rooms do share a common bathroom. King rooms have private baths. This venue features a heated soaking pool and excellent restaurants. No rooms have television, but all rooms have free wifi.

Costs: King room $245.00 Two twin beds: $165.00
